Your questions answered

Know where you stand
before you decide.

Practical answers for site owners, managing agents and facilities teams.

Parking, costs and getting started.

Can our car park stay free?

Yes. Tell us who should be able to park and for how long. A site can be planned around authorised users or time limits rather than paid parking; the proposed rules will be agreed for your site.

What does it cost?

We quote for the site and scope. Installation, software, connectivity, maintenance, transaction charges and any revenue share should all be clear in your proposal. A zero-upfront offer is subject to suitability and agreed terms.

Can we protect genuine residents and customers from charges?

Permits and site-specific permissions help identify authorised vehicles. You should agree how guests and exceptions are registered, who can administer them and how mistakes are reviewed. Accurate registrations and timely updates matter.

Who handles appeals and complaints?

Motorists can use the appeal and complaint routes on this website. The responsibilities for handling them and the support arrangements for your site are set out in your agreement. A permit registration does not automatically cancel an existing parking charge.

Can we keep existing cameras or barriers?

We assess model, connectivity, positioning and integration requirements before confirming compatibility. Existing equipment is not assumed to be compatible simply because it supports ANPR.

What happens if the internet fails?

Behaviour depends on the installed cameras, connection and access equipment. We will agree connectivity and outage handling during design and test the agreed recovery process. Do not assume cloud features or barriers continue operating unchanged while offline.

Can residents register their own vehicles?

Yes, using the site code and an activation code provided by their site manager. The code controls the number of registrations. Residents can complete all permitted registrations together or use the remaining allocation later.

Can residents change their registration themselves?

Not currently. They should contact the site manager to replace the old permission. This keeps vehicle changes under the manager’s control.

Does a permit guarantee a parking space?

No. A permit records permission to park under the site rules. Availability still depends on the car park’s capacity and usage.

Can we manage several sites?

The portal supports multiple sites. What each user can see or change depends on their account permissions and assigned sites.

How quickly can a site go live?

We agree a schedule after reviewing the site, equipment, power and connectivity, any permissions and the required resident or customer communication.

Do we need to install software on our computers?

The portal is accessed through a web browser. Site equipment and network requirements are confirmed separately in the proposal.

Is this for private or statutory council enforcement?

The service described here is private parking management. Any public-sector enquiry needs a scope review; do not assume private parking processes replace a statutory enforcement scheme.

How is resident information used?

Name, address, phone number and vehicle registration are used to administer permits. Access is restricted to authorised portal users. The privacy notice explains the data handling; permit registration itself does not require a DVLA keeper lookup.
